Repertoire

Von verschiedenen Seiten wurde ich darauf angesprochen, ob wir keine Lieder von uns
auf die Homepage stellen könnten. Hierzu muss ich darauf hinweisen, dass dies gar nicht
so einfach ist, da dies evtl. rechtliche Schritte nach sich ziehen könnte, wegen der Besitzrechte der Lieder, also
der GEMA. Es ist im Gespräch ob es möglich ist, von mehreren Liedern kurze Stücke zusammenzuschneiden und diese dann
hier als Hörprobe zu integrieren. Ob das allerdings tatsächlich rein rechtlich möglich ist oder nicht, muss noch
geklärt werden. Bis dahin - bitte Geduld.
I was asked by various people if we could provide back up songs. Concerning this point I have to draw your attention
to the fact, that this isn't as easily since there possibly could be legal steps afterwards, due to the right of
ownership. At the moment we are discussing if there is the possibility of putting several parts of various songs
together and presentate them here. But this idea has to be varified judicial. Until then - please be patient.

Wer die Rainbow-Singers schon gehört hat, weiß, dass das Repertoire des Chores sehr unterschiedliche Stilrichtungen
enthält. Sicherlich liegt der musikalische Schwerpunkt auf traditionellen Gospels und Spirituals und auf neueren
Gospels. Aber auch Abstecher in den Pop-Bereich, in Folksongs unterschiedlicher Länder und in moderne geistliche Lieder
bereichern das Programm.
Neben den Liedern ist auch die Auftrittsart für den Chor charakteristisch. Statt mit viel Technik arbeiten wir
mit Akustik und Klang, der vom jeweiligen Raum und den individuellen Klangkörpern vorgegeben wird. Da wird auch schon
mal eine Extraprobe in Kauf genommen, die "nur" der Klangzusammenstellung dient.
The person who listened already to the rainbow singers knows, that the repertoire consists of various different kind
of styles. Of course our main focus is the traditional gospel and spiritual as well as the new gospel. Furthermore
you find in our program popsongs, folksongs of several countries and modern sacred songs. Apart of the songs
the style of our performance is caracteristical. Instead of much use of technical equipment we work with the
acoustic and the sound, which is expressed by the room and individual sounding bodies. Due to this performance,
there are sometimes extra rehearsels.
